Definition: SoVie - "South Vietnam"

With flavours and inspiration from our homeland deep in the heart of the Mekong, SoVie began as a passion of cooking big feasts for our even bigger family gatherings.
The big feasts and family gatherings still happen, but now we want to share our love of food and the fantastic Southern Vietnamese flavour!
Since 1980
June 1980.

The lady our kids refer to as "Ba Noi" longingly reunited with us,
a world away from our homeland.
Away from anything familiar, she drew comfort from the bond of the family and her love of cooking.
Many of her recipes still hold true to this day of a typical southern vietnamese flavour.
Two generations later, her cooking still shines through us with recipes that have never been penned but meant to be cooked and enjoyed!
